Hello Monday--wedding style

Hello there!  J and I had a nice, little get-away this past weekend and celebrated a soroity sister's wedding.  There was love in the air--December weddings are beautiful, aren't they?  It also doubled as a birthday mini-break for me.  Woo-Hoo :)

Advent Chain Day 2

So today's post isn't quite so Advent related, but it is fun!  The Noodle is sleeping over at Lollie and Papa's house tonight.  The itinerary?  Chinese food for dinner ;) then the movie Charlotte's Web and to top it off, the Noodle gets to "rough" it in her sleeping bag.  I think we're going to take over bagels tomorrow morning, so that will certainly cap off a good time.

 J and I are going to go out and celebrate my birthday, a few days early.  Yipee!  A date night :)

Now that's a birthday sight that warms my heart...my handsome hubby holding our "Chinese Noodle" bearing coffee...early in the morning. Notice the bow--the C.N. requested to wear it. J just made it sure it matched the p.j.s!

I had a very special birthday, thanks to my loving family. In the morning, the C.N. and I had a playdate with a friend and her 2 granddaughters at the local library. After the C.N.'s nap, my mom, "Lolly", stopped by for a chat, a cup of tea and a tea biscuit (one of my favorites!). Then J. came home and brought sushi for dinner as well as German Chocolate cake for dessert. I then opened my presents, but the best gift of all, of course, was the C.N. being here to celebrate with us. Definitely a birthday to remember!!
